LIFT calls for support from partners who said they would step forward when Billy Riley investigation concluded

“People we have looked to as partners and supporters have asked us to wait until the investigation is concluded before they step forward in support,” a statement posted to Facebook page for LIFT, an advocacy group for survivors of the sex trade. “Now that (it) has been completed, we hope we start to see those individuals and organizations start to be more vocal demanding transparency and accountability.”

The statement, credited to Courtney Ross Escobar and Joshua Croke on behalf of the Board of Directors, comes after the group issued an initial statement on July 15.
